Kate joined Rothmans in 1996 as a Chartered Accountant and later specialised in tax, becoming CTA-qualified in 2005. In October 2025, she was appointed Tax Director for the Salisbury and Ringwood offices.

Kate works closely with a broad spectrum of clients including high-net-worth individuals, owner managed businesses and accidental landlords. She advises on all aspects of corporate and personal tax including capital against tax and inheritance tax, finding practical, tax efficient solutions and guiding clients through the complexities of the tax system.

Kate lives in Salisbury with her husband and two children. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering as a Scout Leader for her local group — where she’s just as adept at organising campfire chaos for 30+ young people as she is at tackling the ever-changing tax landscape.
