Paula joined Rothmans in 1990 and was trained in all aspects of accountancy, audit and tax, together with payroll and bookkeeping. During her training she developed the strongest interest in tax work and successfully passed the Association of Taxation Technicians Exams and has been a Member of the Association for over 25 years.

Paula specialises in personal tax and enjoys a good working relationship with her clients; she has acted for some of her clients for over 30 years. She has extensive experience of the self-assessment system and corresponding with HMRC. She has deals with HMRC Letting Campaign Disclosures together with Worldwide Disclosures. She enjoys an HMRC enquiry as loves a good argument!

As well as meeting the self-assessment deadlines she works closely with clients to ensure all other filing deadlines such as the 60-day capital gains tax returns are met. Her client base extends beyond the UK to include a variety of overseas countries.

She has clients that are employed, retired, self-employed or just purely making investments through property or financial portfolios. She loves the variety her tax manager role offers, from the work itself to the people she interacts with.

Paula enjoys dog walks and regular Zumba classes.
